Blessed are the poor (desperate) in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
The proof of desire is pursuit. We are called to be desperate for the things of God.
The coming generations need someone to remind them that they are needed and they are valuable. We are setting a standard before them to help call forth as Abraham Lincoln said the “;Better Angels of Their Natures”;. It has been said that a young person has to stand for a cause worth dying for before he can learn to really live! Many young people are dying for lack of a cause; they are expending their lives for a chance to be a hero in the emptiest things.
Lord I pray you inflame the hearts of young men and women every where to see how valuable they are, how needed they are, call them forth to join together and touch this world for your purposes, raise them up as a standard to their own generations and as a light to the coming generations, carriers inflamed with Your love for the lost, broken, empty, deceived, and discarded. Druggies, Cutters, Dreads, Death cult, Goths, Gay, Lord break their hearts for these all. Lord begin the ground swell that generates wave after wave of young people coming into the Kingdom, into intimacy with You and empower them to be Your hands to the coming generations. In Jesus precious, beautiful, loving, name.
