So, she had mono before she went into knee surgery... The anestesia cause the mono to go into over drive... Which caused her liver enzymes to sky rocket... The damage to her liver is as if she has hepatitis. Thank God she doesn't... And the liver is healing a little more everyday... They also decided that her gall bladder did need to come out. She went in Monday evening to have it removed, but they noticed that her enzymes were still at about 125 and they wanted them to be in the normal range before putting her under with anestesia again, since that's what caused all this in the first place... She was released from the hospital yesterday at around lunch time. She has to go and have her liver enzymes checked on Monday. And if all looks good, they will remover her gall bladder on Thursday. Please continue to pray for her. They said it could take her body 2 to 3 months to recover. She is on bed rest for 4 weeks and could very ill still for 2 to 4 weeks. Her knee does not have an infection and is healing very well at the time... Thank you for all of your prayers and I will keep ya'll posted! God bless!
