Hideaway

Sometimes life's just too much. The bad news is we weren't built to make it alone, but sometimes we forget the good news: We weren't built to make it alone. God built us to need Him and He is more than enough. When I was a kid and everything was just too much i would go hide in our blanket closet. I used to love that so much. Everything bugging me was outside in a great big world and I could hide away in my own little place of rest alone (and with the dog sometimes). I still love to do that but now it's changed because I find my hideaway in God. He's always there to comfort me in times of need. He's my ever present help, my refuge, my peace and my strength. He's so good to me.

You have upheld my right and my cause;

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Psalm 46:1 -

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 2.Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, 3.though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
